My BIG Vacation

May 2003

These are the shots taken from my vacation in April and May 2003.   I had too much leave saved up at my job so I was forced to take a month off.  So I decided to take off to visit my friends and family in NSW and Queensland.   I caught a train to Wollongong and then drove to Canberra and Sydney.  As I write this I'm halfway through my holidays at my parents house in Queensland.

There are a few odd photos below so I hope my comments are descriptive enough.

The XPT at Melbourne.  I'm going to Sydney today!	A ride on the XPT is all about food!	This is great trip!	Okay... how much longer?	The house in the middle is my nan's old house at Wagga.	I'm finally off that train!

Just as you get into Canberra you will notice Pissweak World on the left.  A rarely used rides park.
We were lucky to catch some of the rides in action.	The squeaking Merry Go Round was so spooky !	At last we have arrived!	This could be where we spend the night.	Instead we opt for a motel with a gym.  Neither of us used it.	Greg at Gus' Cafe.  The best place for a hangover breakfast.  We went to The Cube the night before.

The following shots were taken during my visit to see my family in Queensland on the Gold Coast.
