15/9/2008 The past 2 week vacation passed so quickly! It's Monday morning and I'm getting ready to head back to the office. The good news is that the weather is finally warming up in Melbourne.
31/8/2008 It's vacation time! My brother is staying here and taking me to the airport today. I'm flying to Sydney today to meet up with Frank and then we are flying to Bangkok for a few days and then don to Phuket for a week. There has been some political trouble in Thailand this week so hopefully we can avoid any of the protests going on there. I can't wait to swim in the beautiful beaches there. I will post updates during the trip on This Week in the Loft.
17/8/2008 I'm writing this in my Westin room in Sydney. This place is amazingly quiet, warm and comfy... the total opposite to the Loft in Melbourne. I wish I could live here. Anyway, tomorrow I move to North Ryde where I will work for the rest of this. I have a very busy week coming up before I head home again to plan my vacation.
20/7/2008 Visitor week! I have Greg from Wollongong staying with me this week. So far we have done nothing but shop and eat. I think I might explode!
6/7/2008 Now that I have a free weekend I'm spending it catching up on shooting for the private room. We are braving the cold with a roadside shoot today. Should be a lot of fun!
22/6/2008 I'm giving Sydney another go. I'll be working there again this week. I hope my luggage goes on the same flight this time.
5/6/2008 I came home from Sydney a day early today because I have a terrible cold. My flight was delayed 3 hours and then my checked bag was lost. So it ended up taking 8 1/2 hours to get home today. I felt so terrible waiting around the carousel for so long waiting for my suitcase. I'm glad this long terrible day is over and I'm now at home.
1/6/2008 It's the first day of winter! But it seems like it has been winter for a while now. So tomorrow I'm heading north for the week ... just to feel that extra 3 degrees of warmth. Bring on summer!
5/5/2008 My folks are arriving today to spend the week in the Loft. I'm not sure how they will cope with the cold weather this week. I've spent the weekend cleaning and cold-proofing the Loft.
11/4/2008 I'm spending this weekend doing some photo shoots before I head off on my next trip. This time I'm going far far away.
15/3/2008 It is amazingly hot in Melbourne as we started a heatwave today. It always becomes a bit strange in the city as people wander about looking to find somewhere cool. I've just spent an hour putting the outlet hose of my portable aircon into my bathroom and sealing the door to keep the hot air out. Now I have no where to pee!
