In April 2009 I hitched a ride with Chris to California. From the free class upgrades from Qantas to the big breakfast at Mel's Diner. We had a great time hanging out in LA and San Francisco. It was fun going over with Chris because it was his first trip to the US. So we got to do all the cheesy touristy things that I had done when I first went to the US about 15 years ago. Check out the photos below. These are just some of the shots that remind me of the things we did.

I had a really great time on this trip travelling with Chris and meeting up with Joe in LA and Steve in San Francisco. It's so nice having friends around the world. The next trip is a RTW trip passing through New York in August.
