The Trip:   I wasn't going to go to America again this year but Bill (my mate from Ohio) easily talked me into it after we had such a good time in San Francisco last year.   And it was a good opportunity to go and see my mate Marc up in Vancouver as well.

The trip started in Melbourne.  I flew via Sydney with Qantas to San Francisco.   It was a pretty good trip since I got an upgrade to business class.   I was lost for a while at San Francisco airport, but eventually I found Bill and we headed into the city.   The main goals for my trip to SF this year were to see the LoveFest Parade, the Folsom Street and Castro Street Fairs.  All of them were a lot of fun.   I even bumped into people from my last trip around the world in 2006!

LOVEFEST PARADE

This would have to be the most fun parade I have ever been to!   There were no barriers so people could just walk onto the street and start dancing with the party goers...  all heading for an all night party at the Civic Centre...   this is one reason I would go back to San Francisco.   It is usually held late in October.   I was going to put comments on the photos below but I will let this lot speak for themselves.

  FOLSOM STREET FAIR

The big bad Folsom Street Fair.   Now I say this in a nice way...  this is where the real freaks come out.   I went along with Luke, Bill and Jim and had such a great day!   We met loads of porn stars peddling their wares, people being whipped and pee'd on in the streets...  something for everyone I guess.   We took about 1000 photos at the street fair...  the hardcore ones are in the Private Room.

SAN FRANCISCO

I will never grow tired of visiting San Francisco...  it really is a beautiful city in a beautiful part of the world.  And the people here are so nice too!   Something about Californians?
